Meet Max Frew

Max Frew's career began in 1980 working as a Mining & Exploration Geologist at gold and diamond exploration projects in Western Australia. His early work included drilling the southern extensions of the renowned Golden Mile region and involvement in diamond exploration activities in the Great Sandy Desert. Additionally, he served as a Senior Mine Geologist in Kalgoorlie.

With a track record spanning over 40 years in the mining industry, Max transitioned into Professional Geoscience Recruitment, initially as the Branch Manager & Partner of Workpac during its startup phase in Kalgoorlie. His dual expertise, combining over 20 years in recruitment and extensive mining industry experience, has provided him with a deep understanding of the sector's demands and the importance of building and retaining a strong workforce. 

Max's latest mining recruitment business, Geology Group, is a labour hire company specialising in the recruitment of Geologists and other mining industry professionals. Geology Group has been established to support the needs of the mining industry by meticulously matching candidates to specific roles.
